Bellavista is a place of restaurants, bars, arts and the house-museum of a winner of the Nobel Prize of Literature. This bohemian district, was one of the first places to be reborn during the boom-time in Chile.

On this tour you will visit one of the most well-known places visited by both Chileans and travellers.

Interesting area of Santiago and the recent history is fascinating. 

Myriam was knowledgeable but Santiago was disappointingly scruffy in places and not very interesting

I felt there were too many restaurants and not enough architecture to get a feel of the city.  There was some recent history which was interesting.

Was only able to do the second half of the tour but it seemed interesting.

Hope that she was able to get a cool drink! It was really nice to take us on a tour in such a hot day. Very informative. I like seeing how people do things differently, such as painting the roadway.  I liked her explanations about why people aren't at the cafes.  Also, I liked to hear about the political history. I thought that wouldn't be allowed in their country, and am glad that she can.

I enjoyed Myriam‘s tour of the Bella Vista district in Santiago, Chile. This was my first introduction to her country and it certainly whet my appetite to see more. I will definitely join another one of her tours in the future.

Fantastic and interesting tour of a lovely area of Santiago. 

Really enjoyed the explanation of the black and white mural.  I would have liked to have seen more of the murals.  When we were there a few years ago, we walked up to the zoo and on our way we saw lots of beautiful murals. Someone told me recently that most of those are likely gone now though because of the riots in recent years.  Thanks, for the history, Myriam.  Stay safe.

Myriam gave a great tour!  She gave so much information about her city,  and showed a lot of fascinating street art.  I learned so much: I would tae this tour again as I know I likely missed a lot of information too;)  I recommend  Myriams tour!

It was an OK tour based on many others I’ve taken here.  While she had great information, I think she should stop for a longer period of time on the colorful street art and building murals/mosaics she walked by so we could get postcard shots.   Seeing the funicular going on the track would have been fun too!  

Super nice lady, with a big knowledge about culture and gastronomy of Santiago! Tour was very nice and interactive.   

Myriam showed us a beautiful area of Santiago, and told us a lot about the history of political unrest in Chile, whilst showing us lovely buildings and explaining about local cuisine.  It was all very interesting, and is now definitely on my list of places to go!

Really good and enjoyable but not much to see

I would have liked Myriam to stop for a second or two so we could take photos of some of the colourful murals, etc. Her history of Chile was interesting but the trip dragged a little. Thank you.


This was such an amazing area with so much to see, I could easily enjoy taking this tour again. Here and there i missed a few things but as there was so much to take pictures of, it didn't disappoint me too much.

It was interesting to see an area which might not always be on the tourist route. Most of what I can remember is rows of small restaurants or cafes. A couple of interesting looking buildings, one of which was still in the process of being built behind covers. Snippets of information from Myriam, from time to time. I thought it was just about what could be accomplished in the time. Well done.

I loved visiting this colourful area, but for me the tour was spoilt by Myriam's continual usage of OK at the end of many sentences. 
Next time I would love to see the centre, with older buildings, as the area Myriam took us to was full of reconstruction, and buildings covered up, Apparently much gets destroyed by earthquakes.

She is very good as a guide, although the location wasn't my favourite. 

I was hoping to see something other than the typical tourist area. Looks like every other tourist area like Mexico.

We got a real flavour of Chile it was great thankyou. So warm and we loved the sense of humour come earthquake and tsunami!

Talking fast is good, but go slower with video and if you have a favorite place also show the name especially the chocolate place when I travel to Santiago
