About the tour

Today we'll focus on the midsection of the park by starting at New York's classic apartment building The Dakota, notable for its use in TV/film and its celebrity dwellers. From there we'll make our way past Strawberry Fields and Bow Bridge before arriving at the famous Bethesda Fountain and the Central Park Boathouse. We'll end the walk with a stroll down The Mall and Literary Walk.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We're travelling to New York with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and amazing guide.

The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from New York. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.

Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.

I loved the tour this week. So much I didn't know about Central Park. Where are you going now? You both know and share SO much knowledge. Thanks

Pleasant, funny, and educational. I have realized that without these walking tours I would not be able to see these sights even if I traveled to the locations. I am disabled from a spinal cord injury and can walk only short distances on even ground. These tours take where I cannot go! Thank you!

I can tell that you did your homework and you had lots of interesting facts; made me want to jump on a plane from Denver and enjoy a lovely autumn day in Central Park. Thank you!
