Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.

Unfortunately, I am very hearing impaired and rely on lip reading and subtitles. With the computer delay the sound and lips don’t match making it very difficult for me. I loved the colour, the costumes, the animation. Then- my computer froze and I was unable to finish the tour.

Wonderful tour! I learned so much from this tour. What amazing work the women do. It’s such a shame they get so little for all the labour that goes into each piece. Looking forward to more tours.

10 star! This is in my top 3 tours. It was amazing to met the ladies and their children. Mike's introductions and information were great, and the lady who presented and organized the wool processing demonstration was wonderful. So well organized and full of new insights. And to know that the tips went to support them was even better. What an amazing experience, I did not want it to end!
