Another good trip in sunny Lima with Vanessa and her husband. Many of the buildings seem to have been painted since google earth did street view and the city looked even better. Interesting to hear about all the earthquakes.

So much information. So many fabulous sights.

There were some hickups in the streaming, but Vanessa's information (and english) was good.  The church was somewhat familiar, but I'm not sure we were in the same area when we visited Lima a few years ago.

Vanessa's passion for her city shone through her tour. Her knowledge and ability to engage with a remote group was great. Pity about the sound issues towards the end but when it is that cold they are to be expected. Fascinating tour and information.

Vanessa's English was excellent so we had no probles with following her. This time we were in Lima, Peru. Her background knowledge was astounding. Having been born here she knew all the background stories, plus the modern situation, hence the heavy presence of police. Lima has had a chequered history, from the Peruvian Inquisition in 1570, the earthquake  of 1535 and today the wearing of masks  as protection against Covid.

Her English was excellent and her passion for her country was at the forefront as she walked and historically taught us about Lima. Would live to do another tour with Vanessa. Great job!

She is quite passionate and knowledgeable.   She just needs to slow down a bit with her delivery.  It is hard to follow all,the presentation when she rushes through.  Relax and enjoy the day!

I finally got another opportunity to complete a tour with Vanessa, and it was well worth my time.  I learned so much about Lima. Being a native Spaniard, I enjoyed being a part of a tour that connects me to my home historically. I found Vanessa filled with knowledge, attentive to her participants; answering questions. The big piece for me was I learned things I never knew about Peru, which is telling of how media can poorly portray countries and which unfortunately we all depend on for information.  Peru, Lima is a rich country.  What was interesting to was that I even felt a bit of irritation  as I rehear about colonialism and and oppression and sad that Lima even thought or were trained to think they were of less value vs some white European settlers.  I am glad Lima is finding strength in its individualism!!!   As well, the angle of the camera was bang on  where I could see the streets and details-thank you for that. Other tours I have been on were did not meet up to Vanessa's performance. I look forward to upcoming tours!!
