Gullfoss is a sight that visitors through time have always wanted to see. A waterfall cascading in two main steps. Here the river is grinding its way through the cliffs and has already carved its canyon over two kilometers and still going strong. This is the nature of waterfalls - carving through on and on,  and so many of them eventually ending up as rapids.

Stage 4 of the Golden Circle.  Missed 10 days ago, but worth the wait.  Totally different from the last time I visited it.

Albert knows just where to go to provide some of the best scenic views I’ve ever seen. And his information to back up where he’s going makes him one of the best.

Thank you Albert for your wonderful tours. I feel like I’m right there walking the trails with you. It’s so lovely to see the spectacular scenery again and to marvel at new sites I didn’t see on my trip a few years back. 

I really enjoyed both trips I took with Albert this morning. He's very knowledgeable of the areas he shows on his tours and makes sure you see everything and hear the story behind what you are looking at. I haven't been to Iceland yet but because of his tours I am definitely going some day.

Very interesting.  It would have been good to be told even more about the geology, but maybe that would be too specialist for most people.  I really enjoyed seeing the scenery and learning about the Icelandic people, their traditions etc

I know you have the most scintillating scenery to comment on ,but your observations and stories make it so personal and vivid!I so like the story of Sigridur and why not stir the hearts of young men to propose?Alas  too late for me,but the air of romance is so refreshing,and to know that scene will. E saved for the Nation!

Albert has spent a lot of time working out these trips and brings his local knowledge into his talks as well as answering questions. I have spent another amazing day on the Golden Circle trip and have enjoyed it so much. 

I love the history AND the folklore/ stories you tell. Very knowledgeable in a number of areas and honest if you don’t know the answers.

We spent the whole day in Iceland with Albert, and being able to join him at all the stops throughout the day was such a great way to experience the landscape and culture.  He is an excellent guide and spent time making sure we had the best possible views of the beautiful waterfall and scenery. It has been a dream come true  for us to visit Iceland, and we very grateful to Albert for running the tours.

Excellent tour from the Golden circle highlights ,all places shown were great, I missed seeing Thingvellir when I was last in Iceland as it was in the depths of winter in Jan. Seen Gulfoss in spectacular form covered in snow and the Geysir region was amazing .Many thanks Albert for showing your travellers so many places in a day. Very good trip and hope you will be able to take us to a volcanic region if at all possible.

Tour no 4 to the waterfall. What a magnificent view. Iceland continues to amaze and we are so lucky to be able to experience it on these wonderful tours.

Great tour Albert, very windy for you and must have been very cold. Excellent,  well done.

I did both his 9 and 10 trips a d they were great. He gave a lot of information.  Stood for us to take pictures. He braved the. Old weather and walked forever!

While the Internet connection was not very clear due to the wind, Albert's tour was quite informative!  Really appreciate how he braved the cold and wind to show us such beautiful nature! Albert that was a fantastic tour. The sound quality was so much better than on your first trip today so I was able to hear everything you were saying.  My comment this morning said 1* but that was a mistake! I enjoyed the fabulous views just disappointed I was unable to hear what you were saying. Look forward to doing another trip with you.

Top marks to Albert for going the distance and dealing with the weather. The geysirs were as exciting as when I saw them in real life.

The best tour guide! Such a thorough tour of most of the incredible major sites of Iceland, with history and fun! Such a wonderful man, and a great country to go and see (in real life too). 1000/10 would completely recommend for anyone.

Would have been so much better if it was at a nicer, prettier time of year and if Albert had given information and background about the site - geological history, facts, etc. 

It was difficult to hear. I would’ve appreciated a little more information. Maybe some history, or some facts About present life. It was more like a 20 minute photo opportunity.

A shorter tour, but good! The views are breathtaking and the sound of the waterfall is soothing to the soul. Recommended.
