About the tour

This part of the city offers rich architecture, history, wonderful sights. We start the tour at Vorosmarty Square , a very popular spot both for locals and tourists, then we will stroll down the busiest pedestrian shopping street where Zsuzsi will take you inside her favourite souvenir shop with Hungarian specialities such as spices, wines and different artisan products. Afterwords, your guide will show you the city's oldest church, which was almost dislocated during the construction of the Elisabeth Bridge. Our tour will end on the bridge from where we can enjoy the panorama with the highlights of Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Liberty Bridge, Chain Bridge ,Citadel. Interesting contrast between places visited giving a real feel of that part of the city. Appreciated the respectful visit to the interior of the church. Thank you

This tour was one of the best I’ve seen in Virtual Trips. It felt special, exclusive, like we were doing something planned just for us. Mist tour guides plan a surprise for the end and they’ve all succeeded in amazing us with a lot of things (views of the Galleries LaFayette Christmas Tree from the third floor was my number one up to now). But this church by the Elizabeth bridge in Budapest was unexpected and special. Thank you Zsuzsi. As always, excellent guiding, interesting and informative.
