About the tour

Dating back to 1899, Hollywood Forever is home to the oldest memorial park in Hollywood. What better time to explore the final resting place of countless Hollywood movers and shakers than All Saints Day! It marks the day after Halloween and the day before one of Los Angeles’ most honored traditions - Dia de los Muertos! Together we will spend a quiet thirty minutes honoring those that have come before us, as we walk among the beautiful gardens and spiritual sites that make this park truly special.

Meet your local guide

Linda

Linda was born and raised in Southern California and loves to share its many adventures with others. Having traveled North America extensively as a professional musical theater actress, her favorite pastime is getting outside and “walking and gawking;” meeting new people, trying new foods, learning about different cultures. Especially in the car-centric city of Los Angeles, taking a walk gives you a different perspective on this complex and historically fascinating town. LA, and its surrounding areas, is a quilt of international neighborhoods that Linda can’t wait to share with you!

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Los Angeles with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and amazing guide.

The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Los Angeles. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.

Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.

Linda was a very entertaining guide, but when I think of “Hollywood”, my first thought is not to spend a lot of time at the memorials for The Ramones.
