A great tour taking in a fabulous shopping 'village'. Great tips about shopping here for souvenirs and haggling. I'm making it a must visit venue on my trip to Moscow in October (assuming we can travel by then). What a brilliant tour from Tanya visiting the "other" Kremlin and market. It was great seeing the ordinary Russian people, interacting with the stallholders and seeing all the beautiful craftwork. And got to see a very cold bride on her way to the marriage hall. Tanya is a very good guide and it was interesting to hear about the culture and politics from a Russian perspective. I found the tour interesting. I love shopping so seeing all the treasures have tempted me to bring two suitcases when I visit Moscow. Only suggestion - be a bit slower with the camera - although I know in the winter that can be a bit challenging. I will take this tour again in the spring.

A very interesting tour round a quiet marketplace.  Charmingly presented by Tanya who spoke impeccable English.  Tour needs a bit more refinement.  For example, dwelling longer on some of the colourful scenes, menus and buildings, so that viewers can take snapshots or decipher Cyrillic scripts without camera rapidly panning away.  Would love to join the tour once more later this month.

The tour was different to other tours I have done in as much as it showed you an existing market with some very welcoming market stall vendors. Tanya has also been very welcoming and clearly is passionate about informing people about Russian culture. Very interesting.

An excellent tour, it was good to cover a lot of ground and see so much interesting stuff in a short space of time. I’ll definitely try to book on her next tour.

The local market was very interesting . It was so nice to know the non - touristic areas.

Sadly I was a few minutes late joining the tour and when I pressed the "join tour" button it wouldn’t let me in without me putting in my email address and password. Email address was easy, password nor so easy. I’d forgotten which one, of many, I used for virtualtours. I clicked reset password but that email didn’t arrive until after the tour finished. Luckily I hit on the right password at 9.24 so I enjoyed the final few minutes and I hope Tanya does the tour again now that I have committed the password to my ever filling memory. I think it’s happened before, that I tried to join a tour late and then the "join tour"button won’t allow me to join. Hope you had a good Christmas Day.

Great variety - fascinating buildings and bustling markets.  An authoritative and entertaining tour of a fascinating district outside Central Moscow.

Very interesting tour with Tanya today.  We wouldn't have guessed that some of buildings were relatively new but built to resemble 16th or 17th century. She moved the camera quite quickly, anxious to show us lots, but did slow down once I mentioned this. We'd like to visit Moscow but are deterred by the high cost of the Visa. Russia seems to be quite a different world from the rest of Europe!. Thanks for the tour & information.
