About the tour

Please note that each part in this series of tours is designed to be a stand alone tour. I.e. it's not necessary to have seen Part 1 to enjoy Parts 2, 3, or 4. Please join Terry for an inside view of the World War II Memorial. Dedicated in 2004 , it honors the 405,000 Americans who perished fighting for their country during the Second World War. We'll take a close look at the design and symbolism of this memorial. Following our trip inside, we'll walk closer to the Washington Monument (currently closed due to Covid-19 precautions). We'll also have a view of the Capitol and the National Mall, the area where the Smithsonian Institution museums are located.

This was far better than trying to cram all in at once. Concentrating on a couple of things works far better in a place like Washington. Keep up the wonderful information

Terry was certainly very keen on her subject and she passed this enthusiasm on to her clients. I saw the first one at 4-00 and then signed up for the 5-00 to continue the walk.
