Join us for a journey through 271 years of American history in only an hour! See the beautiful, historic town of Alexandria, Virginia - part of our nation's capital until 1846. Old Town is unique for its extensive collection of 18th century rowhouse and shop buildings which remain in use to this day. George Washington kept a townhouse here - a handy spot to crash after a night at the nearby tavern (also still in existence).

Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Washington D.C. with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and amazing guide.
The tour will last about 60 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Washington D.C.. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.
Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

Knowledgeable Tour Guide. The tour would be even greater if provided at a slower pace and spend more time on each monument or architect and more opportunities for postcards. I felt it was rushed to get through the end point. Sometimes less and more info is better

The camera seemed to frequently blur. I enjoyed the trip but perhaps Terry is not as experienced as other guides. Keep up the good work.

Sorry, Terry, I think your gimbal skills can be much better. I'd like to watch your tour, but in three minutes, my head started spinning like on a carousel. Good luck in the future!

Terry is a good guide but waves the camera around too much. Pity because otherwise I would have enjoyed the tour very much

The tour was interesting. The buildings amazing. However you are swinging the camera way too fast. It needs to be slower.
