Sagrada Familia - the Church of Antoni Gaudí

Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain

About the tour

The Sagrada Familia is one of the most distinctive churches in Europe, and perhaps even the world. Come and join Josep on this tour where he will tell you about the genius behind this architectural masterpiece, and answer the many questions you may have about this iconic building. Why and how did it start? Which tricks did he use to be able to calculate such "impossible" structures 130 years ago? Why 18 towers? When will it be finished? The engaging explanations will be intertwined with the architect's life, family history, and under which circumstances “the architect of god” came to pass away.

A very informative tour, he had pictures of the inside of the cathedral as it's closed at the moment. I have only seen it from the outside but was told recently how beautiful it is and how the curves were created. Look forward to Gaudi tour coming coon.

i was wondering how this would go as the building is currently closed but Josep did a wonderful job of bringing it to life with simple filming and visual props to accompany his own excellent narration of the themes and beauty of this amazing building - i found it moving and informative and wish i could join one of his tours in person - i would recomend him to anyone visiting Barcelona
