About the tour

Florence features many layers of architecture and art in plain view. Problem is: how to make heads or tails of it all. Come with me on a walk of discovery. Together we will view famous works of architecture and sculpture that are so often overlooked but just can’t wait to be revealed to you, as well as some off-the-usual-road hidden treasures in the city centre. We'll hear anecdotes relating to the buildings, the palaces and the families that lived and ruled Florence in them.

So many interesting facts. We have been to Florence a few times and it was lovely to hear more about the buildings and the history. Lovely to be able to "walk" around without getting squashed by hordes flashing camera and phones in our faces too. Thank you

My first visit to Florence. Very enjoyable and Bruce is very knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about the history of both Italy and Florence. Not enough time at each stop to take good pics of the artwork which was a pity.
