The Heart of NYC – Times Square

Times Square, New York, United States
30 mins

About the tour

Starting on 42nd Street, we’ll wind our way through the tourist-hub of NYC. Along the way, we’ll show you historic Broadway theaters, uncover some unique nooks and crannies and round out the tour with the iconic New Year’s Eve Ball! Times Square can seem chaotic and daunting on a quick trip to NYC, but we’ll break it down for you…and maybe even show you some great places to eat on your next visit!

Meet your local guide

Aaron and Patrick

Though originally from the cornfields of the Midwest, Aaron considers himself a New Yorker having lived here for over two decades. He's a Broadway performer by trade but delights in showing off his favorite hidden gems around the city he loves. Patrick moved to NYC in 1989 and has spent much of his career on Broadway. Over those 30+ years, he has watched the city evolve into the fun, fast paced tourist destination it is today. Whether you've been to NYC before or haven't checked it off your bucket list yet, Aaron and Patrick will be sure to show you something that will pique your interest.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We're travelling to New York with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and amazing guide.

The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from New York. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.

Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.

Through no fault of their own it was difficult to hear what the guys were saying due to the face masks. It was also unfortunate the the area they were walking through was festooned with scaffolding thus obscuring a lot of the features they were trying to portray. Having actually been to Times Square we didn't think the tour did it full justice. We appreciate that lockdown had a lot to do with this review, however we had to be honest.
