About the tour

Anyone who loves Italy shouldn't miss Naples! Stay comfortably seated on your coach or in your office and get ready to virtually explore the city of Naples with Raffaele - a Local, licensed Tour Guide and specialized Archaeologist! He'll tell you the history, the deep culture, legends and show you the main monuments and art. We start from the Greek ruins in Piazza Bellini and then we’ll walk through historic buildings and the monumental churches as S. Domenico, S. Lorenzo and the Duomo. Imagine walking virtually with me the ancient streets of the Center, watching the real Neapolitan life, understanding where is there best pizzeria or coffe in town! We’ll discover the cult of Deads along our walk and I’ll point you the entrance for the Underground of Naples. Our tour ends at the Duomo, where is stored the most important relic: the blood of St. Gennaro, Neapolitan patron Saint! This trip is a mix of art, archeology and culture. The tour is a moment of interaction between you and me and you can ask me the questions you want. It's your chance to know his city and plan your future trip.

Raffaele is a brilliant guide! Engaging, knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm and love for Naples. I love Naples, it’s a very special place, and I wish he had been the guide on my visit there 4 years ago. We did the same walk, but I learnt much more with Raffaele. On that tour I hadn’t even noticed the bronze skulls outside the Chiesa del Purgatorio, and we didn’t’ see inside the beautiful churches that Raffaele showed us. And the graffiti are amazing. (My favourite graffito from my trip - “la vita è troppo strana” - “life is too strange”). We just needed Pino Daniele’s Napul’è playing softly in the background! Grazie mille, Raffaele!

tours are great ... I know he says it's historical, but I find the massive amount of graffiti distracting and it takes away from everything he's pointing out ... but I keep going back, so I guess it isn't all that bad
