About the tour

Trogir has several nicknames, but the one that describes it best would be “the town of stone lace”. That’s how amazing the work of stonemasons here was. This small town is a Romanesque-Gothic “blend” whose layers of history will take your breath away. The old part of Trogir is situated on an islet, and that whole area is on UNESCO’s list since 1997. Wherever you look, you’ll see amazing architecture, on every corner you can find an artistic masterpiece. Let’s explore it together!

Meet your local guide

Vjeran

This is Vjeran ("faithful" in Croatian) or, easier, V.J. He's in love with his country and would love to present its beauty, history and everything else about it. He was born in 1981 in Split, where he grew up. He still lives in this area and it would be hard for him to call any other place home. He's blessed with a wonderful wife and three children (two boys and a girl), who are his motivation and inspiration. Vjeran has worked as a licensed tourist guide since 2012, but has been involved in tourism since he was 14. After graduating from high school, with an emphasis on tourism, he obtained my undergraduate degree, again, in tourism. He really enjoys spending time with people with whom he can share why he's so passionate about Croatia. Simply said, he loves what he does! Join him in Split!

Vjeran has been guiding since Mar 2012
