Known fondly as the "Jewel of the Pacific," Valparaíso is located on central Chile's west coast and is one of the country's most important ports. Colours dance like forgotten rainbows across the 42 cerros (hills) that face the bay and that give this UNESCO World Heritage Site its charm. During an hour, Vincent will be guiding you through this labyrinth. You'll be amazed by it's tiny streets, it's colourful houses, funiculars and lots of views looking down to the Pacific Ocean. Last but not least, Valparaíso is world's known as a graffiti capital! So expect to be wowed by colour!

I thought this was a wonderful tour. Vince was a great guide , full of information. Valparaiso is almost like a fairytale city.  I loved all of the colorful buildings full of street art.  I am kicking myself now. A long time ago, I traveled by train through South America.  I decided to skip Valparaiso as I thought it was some industrial town for some reason. I wanted to go to the beach and went on to Vina del Mar.  At least I saw a little of what I missed today. Thank you Vince, Merci! Au Revoir.

very personable young man.  knows his city well.  there was a problem with the wind - the audio was inaudible at times.

Wow! How energetic is Vince, up and down so many steps and still able to talk. It was a bit windy which spoilt some of the sound but still great and view of the street art was terrific. thanks

Unfortunately the noise from the wind & children playing nearby made it impossible to hear Vince so I gave up after 15 mins.

I’m sure that I missed quite a lot of super interesting info due to combination of wind tunnel effect and delightful French accent. The colour and warmth of the place really lifted my spirit!

The wind interference with the microphone for the first half of the tour made it so difficult to hear what you were saying that I just had to leave the tour.  I hope to try again next time.

Very unusual city. A place I would never have thought of visiting. Vince was a very knowledgeable guide and got us captivated. 

Knew nothing about Valpariso it was such a surprise and a colourful city we want to go

Very much enjoyed the tour.  My wife and l lived in Vina for 4 years from 1987 to 1991 when l worked in the EUROSAL  shipping consortium. My office was on the 6th floor of Blanco 625 and we have very happy memories of Valparaiso and Chile.  So lucky to have worked in such a beautiful part of the world.
Thanks again to Vince and we will look out for another tour of  Valpo.

The tour was really interesting-beautiful architecture, lots of colour & unique wall art!! Only problem was it was difficult to hear a lot of what he was saying due to the wind blowing-we even had our laptop at full volume. Is this a problem that can be fixed?

Interesting tour, showing the hilly Valpariso scene with such colourful street art. Unfortunately sometimes the wind-noise made hearing Vince difficult.

He's impressively athletic navigating those steps and hills.  Really enjoyed the tour.  Very pretty city.

Only giving 3 stars because the audio was so poor.  We could only hear about half the tour with the wind noise in the microphone.  Would also suggest Vince stop and hold the phone still   for postcard shots.  Beautiful city and the video was great.  Hope the mic issue is fixed for future tours.

Being disabled there is no way I would ever be able to visit Valparaiso's old town and see the beautiful buildings and murals. Vince did the walking and allowed me to see his beautiful city, something I would never have been able to do. Thank you for such an interesting tour Vince. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the trip through Valparaiso very much.   It certainly is an interesting city - never have I seen so much "wall art"!    Vince, I found that sometimes you turned your head a bit too quickly for me - I felt a wee bit 'seasick' at times.   I liked it when you pointed out things and places with your finger - very helpful in an unfamiliar landscape.   I knew there were stairs in V. but not so many!   It was fun to see and traverse so many.   And the funicular was fun and a fine way to end the trip.   Please pardon me for being a bit late - it would have been nice to see your introduction.

Vince's tour was very good. The view of the city were beautiful. I didn't , realize how many hills were in the town. The murals were also interesting.
I look forward to more of his tours in the future.

One if the best speaking English.   Very interesting dialogue and not always mentioning people tipping...not once...  as a result I tried to tip. JT u asked for my postal code but it wouldn’t take it.   Will try again and hopefully he will put on more tours as he’s a good guide with the camera not rushing around so you can’t take pics.
