When you think of Moscow parks, the first one that comes to mind is most likely the Soviet Gorky Park from the 80s spy movie. However, in 2020 Modern Moscow flourishes with diverse and new urban parks. On this tour, we invite you to join Anna for a tour of the new Zaryadye eco-park located just a stone’s throw from Red Square and the Kremlin. Zaryadye Park represents the ‘wild urbanism’ technique merging old historic Moscow streets with wild natural habitats. You will visit the Panoramic Floating Bridge overlooking the Moskva River and Glass Crust Amphitheatre, climb the scenic hill to admire the onion-shaped domes of St Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin, get acquainted with the diversity of Russian nature from the northern landscapes to steppe and meadows and find contemporary art pieces. And of course the history of the ancient district of Zaryadye won’t stay unnoticed!
Anna is incredibly passionate about her job as a Moscow guide: every time she sees her guests catching their breath in a beautiful cathedral or smiling with a joy in the Red Square, she feels she's doing something right! As a true local, she knows that Moscow is an ever-changing metropolis and strives to communicate the diversity and contrasting characteristics of her native city - modern and ancient Moscow - at the same time. Anna loves showing Moscow from the perspective of a local - the striking and important history, beautiful architecture and modern lifestyle with hustle and bustle rhythm, authentic gastro-clusters and beautifully hidden lanes. We hope you can join Anna for an unforgettable tour of this wonderful city!
